and the water bowl has now been filled. Everyone's happy!
For our overseas blogging friends to translate.
1st photo: "I have a question for you. When is a water bowl not a water bowl?"
2nd photo: "When there's no water in the flipping water bowl!"
3rd photo: House finch on the right. "She sent this for you, with a reminder. There is a creek full of water 50 trees that way! Bird bath birds say: "I don't understand. It rained hard last night. An animal must have been very thirsty."
4th photo: Squirrel says, "Why are you all looking at me? I'm innocent I tell ya! It wasn't me!"
LOL Denise. 😆 This cracks me up. Thank 😊 you ❤️ so much, dear friend. I love ❤️ it.
ReplyDeleteThat's great Linda, so glad it made you laugh. You are very welcome dear friend :)
DeleteLOL...someone didn't refill the bowl...
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't know who that could be, lol! :)
DeleteI thought the answer was going to be when it's a bird bath--lol! :)
ReplyDeleteThat would have been even better Rita, lol! :)
DeleteLOL, Denise. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret, always happy to pass on a chuckle :)
DeleteThe conversation reads so fun and playful
ReplyDeleteThank you Roentare, sweet of you to say :)
DeleteI am SO guilty of this! It gets so hot here...water evaporates so fast! Hard to keep up with.
ReplyDeletehugs
Donna
I agree, it's hard to keep up with this kind of humidity and I expect you have even more where you live :) Sending hugs!
DeleteThe birds - and others - come to rely on their bowls being refilled. After all, you;ve got nothing else to do all day. 😉😁
ReplyDeleteVery true, and we have had more rain here which will have helped. But I will have to check in the morning to see that it is still full :)
DeleteThis post reminds me that i have a bird bath in my back yard that is in desperate need of a cleaning and it doesn't have any water in it.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to remind you Ann, I am trying every day to see that it is full but maybe I had better start leaving myself some post it notes, lol! :)
DeleteOh my BIRDS my bird bath was overflowing and even dripping some.
ReplyDeleteI also have 2 smaller bird bowls on the ground. I've seen the squirrels being such water hogs at all three. If only they could share.
Hugs and thanks for the fun post
Cecilia
If only Cecilia, but I'm afraid those little rascals don't know how to share :) You are very welcome and so glad you enjoyed. Sending hugs!

DeletePoor babies! I bet you made them wait all of a few minutes for their water! But it did make a wonderful Saturday post. I love the cute water bowl too. And am still suspicious of Mr. Squirrel...
ReplyDeletePoor babies indeed :) if I can't get to them I point hubs in the direction when he waters the flowers, lol! Everyone is suspicious of Mr. Squirrel, lol!

ReplyDeleteHappy you think so Carol, thanks bunches :)
DeleteI’m pretty sure some critter drinks out of my birdbath at night because it’s usually empty in the morning.
ReplyDeleteBless you for filling it up Linda :)
DeleteAmusing as always but also a good reminder to fill up those bird baths for the birds especially in the hot weather.
ReplyDeleteThank you Beverley, a good reminder for myself also :)
