Here is a small preview of part of a walk we took around Meadowlark Gardens recently. I will be sharing photos over the next week.
The video only lasts for 26 seconds. We finish off with Gregg waving at the end. The photo below was taken in the same area.
Thanks for looking and I
hope your Sunday is a great one.
Beautiful wildflowers! Some look like purple Queen Anne's Lace. I hope it didn't rain too long!
ReplyDeleteIt didn’t but it was a very pleasant cool down from the heat, at least for a few minutes. It was only a little drop more than a fine mist and then it was gone :)
DeleteIt looks a truly delightful walk and I look forward to more.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue, I will have a post about the Fairy Garden in a couple of days. I always visit it first before walking around the flowers :)
DeleteLovely video and the flowers are ever so pretty Denise.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Thanks Margaret, I was very taken with those flowers. You take care too :)
DeleteLove the wildflowers! I would love to take a walk there daily :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful aren’t they Angie? It is a lovely place to walk :) If I lived closer, I would be there every day also.
DeleteI forgot to look at the flowers in the video because I was enjoying listening to your voice. You sound a lot like Yam in Scotland... I enjoyed the video and your voice. and of course the WAVE ha ha.... I don't do well with taking videos, my hands shake I think. I should practice more.
ReplyDeleteI would love to hear Yam’s voice now Sandra :) very happy you enjoyed everything in my video. I thought I needed to slow down while making that panorama and will remind myself to do just that next time. It can be a bit dizzying.
DeleteThat's a delightful mix of flowers - such pretty pastel shades.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same Janice :)
DeleteThat meadow filled with flowers is so dreamy and heavenly
ReplyDeleteThat’s a lovely way of describing them Roentare :)
DeleteI am already hooked on the wildflowers and look forward to seeing more.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean David, Ifelt the same way :)
DeleteVery beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteI agree Ann, and it is always evolving :)
DeleteI really enjoyed the video you speak so clear English!!
ReplyDeleteSome of these wonderful wild flowers (not the purple ones) are also here in Greece! The sequel will be very beautiful I imagine!
Have a nice week Denise🧡
Thank you Katerina and I hope you will enjoy my other posts on the garden :) I wish you a very nice week also.
DeleteSuper spacer po pięknym miejscu. Miłego tygodnia:)
ReplyDeleteDziękuję, to był piękny spacer. Życzę bardzo udanego tygodnia :)
DeleteLovely flowers!
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is the first time I have seen this particular display there. I thought it was gorgeous! :)
DeleteHappy Sunday Denise,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the video and the lovely flowers.
Take care, enjoy your day and have a great new week!
Thank you Eileen, so glad :) and I wish you the same.
DeleteWhat a wonderful place to sit and relax. I'm looking forward to more photos - have a great week~
ReplyDeleteThank you Carol :) I love to sit and see what birds there are nearby, and then take in the pretty scenery. You have a great week too.
DeleteYour video is lovely, Denise! The wildflowers look like Queen Anne's lace. I always enjoy hearing your sweet voice and of course Gregg waving.
ReplyDeleteSweet of you to say Martha Ellen, thank you so much! It is Queen Anne’s Lace. It is such a beautiful flower :)
DeleteTHanks for taking us along for a look at the gardens. It looks really nice there. I waved back at Gregg.
ReplyDeleteSome of that Queen Annes Lace looks pinkish in your pictures. I've never seen it like that before. It's pretty.
You are very welcome, I am always very happy to share the things seen on these walks. I have never seen anything other than the white Queen Anne’s Lace. The pinks came as a surprise. Gregg will be very happy you waved back Ann :)
DeleteLove hearing your voice. Fun video. I'm waving back!
ReplyDeleteAnd he is loving it :) Thank you Ellen, much appreciate your kind words.
DeleteI look forward to whatever you want to show us!
ReplyDeleteThank you Rose, I have a post about the Fairy Garden set up for next Wednesday, and the flowers will follow shortly after.
DeleteLovely, Denise! I'll look forward to seeing more. How nice this is pretty close to you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeanie, we are very fortunate to have this relatively close to us. We go often during the year :)
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda, glad you thought so :)
DeletePretty meadow flowers.
ReplyDeleteI loved them and they were such a surprise as they haven't had this many growing at one time. It is in an area where they plant different flowers every year and it is always such a nice surprise to see what is growing. Thank you Beverley :)
