Santa's back-up team is practicing.
I LOVE it!!!!!!
Then my day is made, thank you Ginny :)
I'll never look at a pelican again without seeing Santa's backup team. 😁
I don't think I will either Anni :)
Thanks for the smiles. The pelicans could hold a LOT of presents in their bills as an additional help.
You are very welcome Sue, and I didn't think about that. Thank YOU for the smiles :)
Good Job, I like pelicans as much as reindeer! you can never have enough back up plans. remember I am the WHAT IF QUEEN
And you are what I aspire to be Sandra. I am always trying to think ahead :) Wonderful birds are't they? I don't get to see them that often but love it when I do :)
I had no idea Santa had a back up team but it makes perfect sense.
Hi Ann, according to a little pelican, he told me this when I first took the photo ;)
Have a great weekend!
Thank you Jenn, you too :)

Thank you Jan, happy you enjoyed my touch of whimsy :) You enjoy your weekend also and all the best :)
That's such a cute photo with the pelican's talking with each other, Denise. I love the Santa hats too! Those Elf shoes at the end of your post are delightful as ever.~Sheri**thank you for sharing your story about your childhood and the balloons and streamers and the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. The ones my mom had every year weren't that decked out either. She had a real tree, and always put red balls on the tree, and then later through the years, a few ornaments here and there and some tinsel. But we do remember those precious memories, don't we? : )
Hi Sheri :) thank you, glad you enjoyed my pelicans and the elf shoes. You are very welcome to my memories of childhood Christmas'. We certainly do remember and they become even more precious as the years go by :) I enjoyed yours very much and thank you for asking bloggers to tell about theirs. Always a fun and enjoyable read to learn of others' memories when they are happy to share. I certainly enjoyed the ones you have written about in your comment. Thanks again! Lovely!
Thank you William :)
Oh Denise, this is a darling post. I love how your whimsical mind thinks! I'm so glad the pelicans are practicing. I'll be watching NORAD's Santa Tracker to see if they are needed this year.
Thank you Martha Ellen, and I'll be watching the Santa Tracker also, just in case :)))
Love the back up team and the conversation. Another day with a smile thanks to you.
That's wonderful Carol, happy this brought you a smile and now my day is done :)))
