A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER THANKSGIVING...

we took a ride to see the Festival of Lights at a park in the next town over.
It was fun.  I tried to take photos but only one or two came out.  I thought perhaps I might do better taking a short video with my iPad, which you can listen to above.
It was a nice leisurely drive.

Later I suggested we stop at our local coffee shop and get a hot chocolate.  It made for a very pleasant end to the day.  These photos were taken on our way to the car. The lighting was nice and bright.
As you can see, everywhere is decorated for the upcoming season.

  3. I like the first picture, Denise. I also liked that by accident I clicked on the video to see more, accidentally clicking on Lee Marvin. Of course, after that I just had to listen to him singing Wandering Star. He is still singing as I type and the memories are flooding in. THANK YOU.

    1. Lee must have been on the choices after my video finished. They always change so I never know what is going to turn up. Lee Marvin was laid to rest at Arlington you know. I have been by to see him many times. My Dad was a great fan.

  15. It is still a tad early to be decorating fro Christmas, but there are lots of signs of it here too. Some even have their Christmas trees up inside the house. We put ours up around 20 December.

    1. For the first time I have my Christmas tree up. In fact I have two. The one came early as I ordered it. I didn't have to heart to take it down so I left it for a few days before I started decorating and I'm glad they are both taken care of now.
