SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY AND A DEAR FRIEND

No sight-seeing today and last night our son and daughter-in-law came over for dinner.  We had a wonderful time and they enjoyed meeting Bill and listening about life in New Zealand very much.  Here are the photos from our time together.






Today we visited a dear friend.  We had a pretty drive through the countryside to get there, and we all went to a favorite restaurant near her house.  Here are those photos.  





After dinner we went back to Anne's home.  She had made a delicious dessert which we had with a cup of tea.  Bill showed her the album he brought along, full of photographs of his lovely family. 






We all had such a great time.

    Your son and daughter-in-law are beautiful! Do they live close? Off the top of my head, I would say the restaurant is a Steak House, ha ha!

      Thank you Ginny. They live about 40 minutes away. Yup! Lol! That would be a steak house. It is a Lone Star and the times we have been there we have always enjoyed it. Friendly staff too.

    Nice to see a photo of son and DIL again. Whenever I have seen them before I think what a happy couple they are. Bill looks as though he enjoyed himself as well.

      Thanks Sandra, I propped the cell phone on a book with a small vase behind it. Easier than a selfie-stick!!! My latest post will tell you all about that thing, lol! I liked the restaurant decor too.

    You are so lucky to have family close by. I am the end of our line and both my parents were only children so I have no close blood relations at all :-( Enjoy them and appreciate them, you are so lucky. Have a great weekend Diane
