SATURDAY MORNING AT THE BIRD FEEDER - THE NORTHERN FLICKER WAS INVITED FOR COCKTAILS

All is well on this Saturday Morning at the Bird Feeder. The Northern Flicker slept under the guest toadstool, and is safely continuing his journey this morning. Camera Lady is hoping he will be back soon.

Have a great day everyone and I hope wherever you are, your nest is cozy and warm.

    1. Well, funny you should say that Sandra. The other morning Froggies3 had fallen off the bottom bench. I'm sure they were sleeping under their own toadstool til morning. The Kissing Bunnies were also on their side. It must have been quite a wild party :)

  4. It's always a pleasure to visit the birdfeeder on a Saturday morning. Nice to hear that the Northern Flicker spent the night before heading out for it's flight.

  11. Flickers warm my heart. (Old memories.)
My nest is cozy and pretty warm. Very windy today and it is roaring against the building (27 degrees). Glad to be inside with Miss Allie sleeping on my chair with me. ;)

  15. You are hilarious and very good with the photos. My bird camera after a few days of decent birds is almost all house sparrows. I never realized how vicious and nasty they are even with each other. I saw one trying to gouge out another birds eye.

    1. I'm glad you think so Yogi, always trying to bring my blogging friends a smile. We haven't had a lot of house sparrows, just one or two. I didn't realize they were so aggressive! I have been watching our birds and figuring out which ones feed with others on the same feeding dish. It's very interesting to see their personalities take shape.
