An envelope does indeed start with the letter ‘e’ and is designed to contain an actual, honest to goodness letter, but not the kind of letter I was thinking about. Way to go little dove!
And by now you know how it goes on
a Saturday Morning at the Bird Feeder.
Thanks for looking
and have a great weekend my friends.
What a cute riddle. But my favorite thing is Mr. Wren's definition of a riddle! It is perfect!
ReplyDeleteHappy you thought so Ginny, the camera lady was trying to describe it and that's what she came up with :)
DeleteWhat beautiful little birds, but also the dialogues you have created Denise are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had any time lately and I've missed your posts so much!
Glad I found you well!
Have a great weekendπ§‘
Greetings Katerina :) so glad you enjoy them. So sweet of you to visit with you being so busy. I appreciate them very much, thank you! You have a great weekend also :) xx
DeleteSmiling - not least because I guessed envelope.
ReplyDeleteYou are very clever if you guessed the answer Sue, it took me a while :)
DeleteThat's a clever riddle - I would have been puzzling over that all day!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue, I was happy to come across it. I thought of leaving the answer off until tomororw, but thought that would be too long, hence the scrolling :)
DeleteSo cute, Denise.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Happy you think so Margaret, thank you :)
DeleteCute riddle and I love your bird photos. Take care, have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, thank you Eileen and you take care and have a wonderful weekend also :)
DeleteExcellent riddle. It's too early for my brain to have figured that one out so I had to scroll down and down and down some more...lol
ReplyDeleteIt's always so much fun to visit the bird feeder on a Saturday morning.
It's always too early for my brain to figure these things out Ann, lol! So glad you have fun with these, thank you :)
DeleteSuch a fun riddle! Those birds are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Angie, always happy you enjoy these. I certainly enjoy putting them together and the birds are beautiful I agree. Sweet little things they are. I will start to feed them again as soon as I know the larger critters have gone bye-bye for the wintertime, and their natural food gets scarce :)
DeleteAwesome post!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne :)
DeleteHappy riddle Saturday to you, Denise!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ellen and the same to you :) Great to know you are back. I shall enjoy looking at your photos. Welcome home!

Smart birds at the feeder, my friend! Such a creative post---I know I say it often, but your creativity makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteThank you Martha Ellen, I try my best and your kind words make me smile too :)
DeleteLovely photos of the birds, Denise. A woodpecker stopped by for a visit, and his head wasn't the bright red that it usually is - I wondered if anything was wrong with it?
ReplyDelete~Sheri
Thank you Sheri :) I wonder if it was a different type of woodpecker, or if it was a female? Sometimes their coloring is less vibrant. But truthfully I am no expert and am still learning these things.
DeleteYou have a delightful sense of nature and humor. It's such a pleasure to come here and to know you. D. Aloha!
ReplyDeleteHi Cloudia, it makes me very happy you enjoy visiting and I truly feel the same about you. Thank you so much my dear friend :)
DeleteThat is much fun!
ReplyDeleteVery happy you thought so Jenn, thank you much :)
DeleteHaha...what is bad is I did not get it at first...I guess I am too tired to think straight.
ReplyDeleteWell, it took me a few, lol! :) And this was in the morning.
DeleteThat's a clever riddle :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you Jan, I thought so when a little bird told me it :) All the best to you too.
