Haha I always put out a small amount of bird food even in summer as I will never get any photos without food to attract them. Mostly they do not eat much anyway when it is hot. I hope all is well, sorry I have been so slow this year, buying the adjoining property as kept us more than busy with restoration! Cheers Diane
DENISE WHY INDEED!!! I ASK WHY SOME BLOG ADDRESSES DISAPPEARED FROM MY LIST DURING MY DATA TRANSFER TO MY NEW COMPUTER. I found you put you back where you belong Hugs Cecilia
We tried that but found the raccoons and foxes were coming earlier and earlier :) also we have both had health issues this year and it has been a bit more difficult and harder to keep up. So looking forward to the Fall in more ways than one.
I often ask that question, "why?" haha. The mourning dove is precious, and I just took some pics of his relative, the Eurasian Collared Dove. His song is so gentle and one of my favorite birds. That's a great picture of the squirrel!
I must have definitely been in projection mode when putting this post together :) I remember the Eurasian Collard Dove on my west coast trips. Such a sweet sound. I rather like that squirrel picture myself, lol! Thank you Sheri, I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
They all anxiously await!!! But still looking well fed...
ReplyDeleteI suspect I am not the only one who feeds them. Someone’s kitchen is still open :)
DeleteWonderful Denise.

DeleteHow can you resist those beseeching looks?
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult but I am more worried about going out there one night and seeing the beseeching look from a big old black bear, lol!
