This is a bit of a surprise as I didn’t realize it had published. Well, this time I will blame it on this summer cold! I was going to yank it but it gets confusing for my blogging friends when I do that, so it stays.
And so it goes on a Saturday morning at the bird feeder.
Thanks for dropping by
and have a great weekend.
What a wonderful surprise!!! a mid-week bird feeder post, just what I need to cheer me up! I am so sorry you are both sick! Do you know what it is? Colds maybe, or Covid?
ReplyDeleteI am very happy this surprise cheered you up Ginny :) I was very happy that I had quite a few posts ready to be published before I got sick and have been trying to catch up with comments over the last few days. This is 8-8-24, but it could take a while as I have quite a backlog thanks to all my lovely blogging friends, which I have enjoyed reading. I am almost 100 percent. It was not Covid, not the flu and not pneumonia but something is going around - a bacterial infection of the lungs - that is the worst we have ever had, and the sickest I have ever seen my dear other half as he was much worse. I am more than happy that he is over it now. Hoping everyone stays healthy out there, including you and Phil :)
DeleteThanks for the smiles. I hope you both recover quickly.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue, happy you enjoyed and we're fine now, thank you so much!
DeleteWell this was so nice to see on a Wednesday :)
ReplyDeleteI do hope you both feel better soon.
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan, I will be by soon to see how you are my friend :)
DeleteNot gracious with these birds right?
ReplyDeleteYou are correct roentare ;)
DeletePampered birdies if there's a creek 5 trees over. Get well! Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteVery pampered, lol Thank you Linda :)
DeleteI so hope your colds get better soon...summer colds are not fun. That Cardinal had no sympathy, did he?
ReplyDeleteThey sure are not and thank you for your good wishes Rose, very much appreciated. No the Cardinal was being a wee bit into himself that day :)
DeleteYour feathered friends are so cute, Denise. I'm sure the cardinal wasn't thinking clearly in this extreme heat and humidity. Do take care and make sure you both drink plenty of liquids. Lemon, honey, and ginger in hot water sounds great. So sorry the colds aren't over. Hopefully soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you Martha Ellen and I'm giving the cardinal a pass :) It has been extremely hot but we're got rain today on 8-8-24 and we can see the grass turning green in front of our eyes. So kind of you with the drinking plenty of liquids advice, thank you so much my friend :)
