Great sweet little chipmunk photos! And pretty detail on the Cardinal, too! What is the black bird taking a bath? But you know the little Wren is always my favorite!
Glad you enjoyed Ginny :) the black bird is a crow. Hard to tell with his feathers all wet. The wren is a sweet little bird for sure, and always happy when the cardinals call, and even the chipmunks. They will all be scarce until the colder months now though, but fortunately I have a lot of bird feeder photos to help me through the non-feeding months.
you certainly have the most entertaining bird feeder I have ever seen, not JUST birds but all critters are welcome, and some are not welcome but come anyway...
Camera lady is so kind to all her critters. Darling photos and entertaining musings at the bird feeder. Sending best wishes to Big Bunny on a complete recovery. The welcoming rains will surely make everything better in the garden!
Thank you Martha Ellen, so happy you enjoyed this week's conversation :) I will send your best wishes to Big Bunny. I am sure he will be delighted ;) as for the rains, yes indeed, and it seemed to cool the weather a few degrees for a little while at least. 100 degrees F. on Tuesday my dear friend, so stay cool!
After 2" of rain yesterday...today was they day to empty out any remaining bird seed from the feeders...wash the trays and add new seed. DONE, also put out no melt suet. The bird baths are full of rain water so I did n't need to fill them. Will refill them after supper Hugs and healing thoughts to Big Bunny Cecilia
You are covering different issues with Saturday morning at the bird feeder. The author's health is referred to. Winter? Yes, winter is coming and animals are already preparing for it.
Very true, I am trying to add a little bit of every-day life into these conversations, a fun way to look back and remember. Animals and birds are a good weathervane for incoming weather, that's for sure :)
You have so many wonderful birds visiting you at the bird feeder each and every day, Denise. We often get the Eurasian Collared Doves, and one is coooing in the distance right now. They are precious. And then there are the Steller's Jay and the Robin, and the funny California Quail.
Sounds like you have some lovely birds there yourself Sheri. I remember seeing California Quail one time when in California. Darling and funny as you say. Steller's Jay are always a treat to see but I don't get to do that unless we travel out west. Eurasian Collared Doves I have seen also but only on our travels. Our weekend is almost over but it was a lovely one, thank you so much. I hope yours was also.
Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!

ReplyDeleteHappy you think so Sandra :) Yes, truth be told, all critters are welcome, but maybe I would be more wary of Mr. Bear.
