Our water mirror is in hibernation for a couple of days, so the birds a flitting in the snow instead. 40's again next week, so hopefully the water will be back!
Birds can certainly be confused by mirrors such as windows, Some birds are killed when they mistake the images in windows as forest and fly into the window.
They do get confused here occasionally. Stickers help. Fortunately we have only had one fatality in the 30 plus years we have lived here, not so fortunate for that hapless bird though. Doves leave their wing and tummy prints on the glass on a rare occasion. I am always happy to see them unharmed afterwards.
Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
Thanks for the smiles. And the beauty.
