Thank you for all the sweet, kind and caring comments you have left regarding Gregg and I having Covid, either here or through email. Many of you have had it too and have offered excellent advice. We have both appreciated this very much.

SATURDAY MORNING NOT AT THE BIRD FEEDER
"I believe that we are here for each other, not against each other. Everything comes from an understanding that you are a gift in my life - whoever you are, whatever our differences."
Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. (December 31, 1943 – October 12, 1997), known professionally as John Denver, was an American guitarist, singer, composer, actor, humanitarian, and environmentalist. He is known for popularizing acoustic folk music in the 1970s as part of the ongoing singer-songwriter movement of the mid-to-late 20th century. Denver is widely recognized as a cultural icon of the American West.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
I remember him well. I think he died flying an experimental airplane. Is that a Secretary Bird? I find them fascinating. It is good to see a post from you; maybe you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was very sad and a day I remember also. I still listen to his music. He left a wonderful legacy :) Thank you Ginny. I am very late answering everyone’s comments and hope to catch up eventually.
DeleteGosh, I must be bird-brained! I never knew John Denver's real name! Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteNo, most definitely not Linda :) we are always learning the real names of artists :)
DeleteJust checking Linda. I couldn't find a link to your place to return the visit so am not sure if you have an active blog. Just wanted to let you know I tried :)

We are thank you Sheri. The only thing is I am having a hard time catching up and answering comments, hence the lateness of this one :) I will get there eventually. It makes me very happy you enjoy these posts. Happy Friday and weekend :)
DeleteDear Denise :=)
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your hubby are feeling much better. Thank you for the John Denver quote, a gem in today's world, he was a favourite musician of mine, and I was saddened when I heard of his death, but his music lives on.
Get well soon.
Thank you and you are very welcome :) I very much appreciate your kind words. Hubby and I are back to normal. Totally agree with you on John Denver. And yes, his music lives on.
DeleteMądre słowa. Miło, że czujesz się lepiej.
ReplyDeleteBardzo dziękuję :) Doceniam Twoje miłe słowa.
DeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne :)
DeleteThat's the second time this week that John Denver's name has come up. Holly's son, who is 6 was singing a John Denver song the other day. She says it's his favorite.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful :) she must have sounded adorable!
DeleteI liked John Denver! I always loathe it when people change their names.
ReplyDeleteHe was a wonderful artist. I could be wrong but people seemed to change their names more often back in the day :)
DeleteDenise, sending our best wishes that you and Gregg are feeling better with rest. Yes, we are all related and even more so these days thanks to the wonders of technology.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :) all better now! Agree with you on technology. It has brought us all closer together.
DeleteOh gosh, I take a week or so off from blogging and come back to find out that you two have been sick with Covid. I'm so sorry and hope that this finds you definitely on the mend. I scrolled back and saw that you put up posts you'd already done even though you were so sick. I am in deep admiration of your ability to do that! (Especially because I just came back from not posting for a while for reallyl no good reason at all.) Thank you for all you do!!! Get (and stay) well soon!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sallie, as it has taken a long time for me to catch up on answering my comments, we are both fine thanks :) Thank you for your kind words. I think you do wonderful with posting, especially after the big cleanup you had to do after the hurricane. Now that’s impressive :)
