I think a number of the Scandi countries have a very high percentage of "happiness." But then, they have so many services for which they are taxed but also that take the burdens off of daily life. I would support that -- if we had the same, I would be happier too!
forest does make a difference but I think the reason the are the happiest is they are the most sparsely populated in europe. lack of people makes me happier
And every home, even each apartment, has its own sauna ;>) (at least in the city where our grandson and his wife lived when they were there, according to what he told us.) He said also that the children go outside to play at recess every single day even if it is below freezing.. Also people seem to read a lot which I seriously think along with the forest and getting outside would truly contribute to the national happiness. (But as for me I hate to be cold, so I think I'll stay right where I am!)
Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
