I took these photos at Walney Pond. There was a bug in the middle causing all the ripples. I liked the effect. It is not a black and white photo, it just turned out that way.
My next post I will be sharing more from Huntley Meadows.
I didn't think it needed rescuing, thought it was searching for food :) There are a lot of water type bugs around here and it was too far out for me to figure out what it was.
Perfection of nature! You captured it so well. I have a similar photo in my archives somewhere (never posted) of ripples created by a water drip system.
If I miss some posts, forgive me. My blogger reader list has disappeared (has yours?) The one on the left column of the dashboard. Very frustrated and not getting any help from blogger. Grrr! I'll try to check in but I'm helpless without that list!
I'm sorry to hear that Jeanie. I didn't have a blogger reader list on my sidebar, just my follower pictures. I always wanted to add one and then it all changed when blogger went to the new version in July? Not 100 percent certain this was your problem. No worries on visiting regularly, it is hard to keep up with everyone list or no list I've found, but I get there eventually. I think we all understand, no worries :)
Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
I like them. Your posts inspired me to stop at Walney recently. Yesterday I posted a picture of the mill.
ReplyDeleteThat’s great Linda! Just visited your blog and had fun looking at your photos. Thanks for sharing them.

DeleteVery cool. I like the ripples. They do look like they could be black and white except you can see a little bit of color on the bug
ReplyDeleteYes, a tiny bit of yellow :)

DeleteI see this in our pool a lot, and rescue the bugs unless it is a wasp. it does make a beautiful pattern
