    Equally delightful, to SEE a quote by Thomas Jefferson. Now, when he is being maligned.

    And on this "maligned" topic...... A statue in our park was pulled down and destroyed the other night.

    A statue commemorating local men, who fought and died, in the Civil War, on the UNION Side!!!!

    HOw STUPID is that???!!!???!!!?????

    These BLM people can't read???? The inscription???? On the base of the statue??????????

    It is so true. I have always felt making and keeping friendships is very important for one's mental health. It has been so nice being your friend for a long time and the highlight was meeting you way back when. Was it 9 years ago? It doesn't seem so long ago. Hope you are coping with the awful situation with Covid and keep safe.

    This is so very true, Denise, especially now when friends (and family) cannot get together in person. Keeping in touch by phone, mail, email and videos is wonderful and so glad we connected recently!
