DON'T FORGET TO KEEP YOUR FEATHERS WELL OILED!






I thought at first this pretty bird was an Ancona duck, or it could it be a Magpie duck?  I'm confused!  Maybe there is an expert out there on ducks. According to this website, if it is an Ancona it was developed in Great Britain during the early 20th century.  It is similar to a Magpie duck and considered to be a descendant of the Indian Runner Duck and the Belgian Huttegem duck breed.  If you know maybe you can pass on your knowledge.  Always eternally grateful to learn from an expert.

    This is a new one to me, I have never seen or heard of it. He is pretty. And does like kind of like an actual Magpie.

    I was wondering if this was taken recently because if so he probably is in his eclipse plumage and therefore does not look like his normal self Denise

    Here's my answer! It is a black and white duck! And absolutely beautiful and I might even say stunning black duck with white spots or white duck with black spots. I actually laughed when I saw the quote because I'm sitting in my chair and I had just finished putting Lubriderm on my scaly skin and other words I was oiling my feathers
