REVISITING THE WREATHES AND GARLANDS OF COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG

A few old photos from Williamsburg, from my archives.  They were taken at this time of the year, as you can see from all the decorations on the windows and doors.
Usually I have a recipe for you today but instead, at this link, you will find all kinds of colonial recipes on the Williamsburg website.  They have a link to one of my favorites, Peanut Soup.  Collops of Salmon sounds intriguing.

    I have visited Williamsburg in the summer. It doesn't matter when you are there. Always a treat!
    I eat a plain old peanut butter fold over when I am hungry. I checked out the soup. I am sure I would like it ... if I didn't know what was in it and didn't have to make it.
    (darned diet!!)

      Hello there, I love Williamsburg in all seasons. You and I do the same thing with our peanut butter :) I think you would like the soup when you don't have to watch what you eat.

      I agree Sandra, I love these simple wreaths but then we don't have any small children in the house. I always wonder when I see those oversized decorations :) Merry Christmas!
