MY BUTTERFLY JAR...

With thanks to one of our nieces,  I have something new to my collection.  A scent warmer.  It looks like this in the daytime, pretty yes?
It is extremely pretty when it gets dark.  You plug it in, pick your scent, pop the little wax squares into the glass dish resting on top of the jar, and wait for the heat of the bulb to melt it.  Then you start noticing the amazing scent that floats through the house.  Depending on your scent preference, it is wonderful!  I put the lights out and that's when the magic happens.  It sparkles!











 I got a little creative in Paint Shop Pro...


 and came up with a collage.  

I also made an addition to the signature tags, plus one on a plain background.  Yes, I had a little time on my hands this afternoon, it was fun to play.   This is a nod to Sandra at Mad Snapper as I love her creative candle photos.  She inspired me today. 
And thank you dear Niece, I love my new scent warmer.

    What a wonderful gift! I love each and every photo of it, and wish I could smell it. So what scents did you choose?

      Happy you like it Ginny, it was Scentsy's Apricot Vanilla. Really nice but people have such different ideas on what scents they like I know. This one was new to me and I thought it was very nice.

    I have never heard of scent warmers but from your description it sounds like a brilliant idea. Yes, this was definitely a wonderful gift.

      Thank you Valerie :) They have only been familiar to me in the last couple of years or so, though I think others have bought them over the years. I really don't know how long they have been around.

    I love your creations and really love that candle in the dark. so beautiful. now i am wondering if it comes in scent free. i can't have scented anything any more, but i would love to have this to look at.. you know how i love candles in the dark..

    I have many home items with butterflies on them so I love your wax warmer that looks good at different times of the day and evening. I beautiful and useful gift from your niece.

    it's so nice to be inspired!! i have something similar that uses "sprinkles". i had never heard of it but a friend was selling the items and i wanted to support her. i LOVE mine, bought a second, and i love the "no soot"/clean air factor!!

    yours is beautiful, it looks hand made!!
