A FEW FLOWER PHOTOS TAKEN THIS YEAR, SO FAR...

These were found on our holiday in Vancouver last May.

    I glorious post!I love looking at these flowers, many unknown to me. I have seen the Allium in full bloom, but never as a bud. And a great quote to go with it. The Horned Tulips are so weird! The Peony is beautiful, and has a wonderful soft color. The Yellow Crown Imperial may be my favorite jewel of them all! I have never seen one, and it is awesome! It's name suits it. And look at the way you caught the sun on it, just perfect. I've never seen the Texas buckeye, but I am familiar with the candy of the same name! I love your quotes!! A tray of jewels for sure.

      I had never seen the horned tulip before but Meadowlark Gardens grew them one year. I haven’t seen them since.

    Denise, your photos are amazing. And I enjoy the quotes and added info about the flowers as well. It's good to know the scientific name when you're trying to buy plants.
