2017 CROSS-COUNTRY ROAD TRIP - TRYING NOT TO FEED THE BEARS
Moving right along, Denise and friends.
Do you think I can fit these in the car? They would look great as front yard garden ornaments, but the Home Owners Association would be sending me a letter soon afterwards. Ah well, a girl can dream.
I would say it's the three bears. Except that one is a dog. They all look carved from one large piece of wood. A great picture. And you are looking gorgeous today!
I agree, it looks like a dog in that photo but he is supposed to be the baby bear. Thank you for the ever so sweet comment, you make me feel so good. I was actually falling asleep and snoozed a little in the car afterwards :)
Isn't that the truth ;) one reason to move out of the suburbs and into the countryside where I can actually hang my washing out on a line :) or provide sanctuary for anyone I please. Ah well, that won't be happening in the foreseeable future.
Hi Denise and what superb bears, expected to see you with a bowl of porridge, they would look wonderful in your garden if you managed a quick get away. All the best, John
Now that made me laugh and I could always have kept them in the front to greet people as they came through the door I guess :) However, I don't have that kind of room.
Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
The Home Owners Associations should lighten up. They are charming.
ReplyDeleteI agree EC :)

DeleteI love the bears and you look cute with them. did anyone feed you????

DeleteA good reason not to live anywhere with a home owner's association!

ReplyDeleteDo you know John, I absolutely love porridge. Yes, I would need a fast getaway. Those HOA are very strict with their rules. All the best, Denise :)
DeleteI think they would look nice inside your house! If not, send them to me and I will put them in my yard!
ReplyDeleteI think so too Rose :) I will send them right over :)))
DeleteAwesome photo!
ReplyDeleteThank you Red :)
DeleteWhy thank you Linda, that is really sweet of you to say so.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, where there is a will there is a way, just have to hide them from the HOA.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great quote and advice Jimmy. Noww I have to find a good hiding spot :)
DeleteThe four of you look adorable! I wouldn't mind having one of those in front of my house too.
ReplyDeleteFrom the four of us, we thank you Kay :)
DeleteWhen I showed the photo to Grenville, his comment was that the homeowners association should "grin and bear it" But if you had them indoors, Denise...
ReplyDeleteNow that made me laugh and I could always have kept them in the front to greet people as they came through the door I guess :) However, I don't have that kind of room.
DeleteI would have no problem with those in my yard, course my neighbors think I am nuts anyway! haha
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chuckle Pam, I would love to have you as a neighbor :)
DeleteJust love that photo!
ReplyDeleteA winner!
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan :)
