To our family and friends who are celebrating, and to everyone out there, we would like to wish you A Very Happy Cinqo de Mayo.
I would also like to thank you for all the sweet and caring comments about my feeling under the weather a little while ago. All better now and have been for several days.
We have just spent a week with Gregg's sister and her husband, who showed us a fantastic time and whom we thank dearly. To put it mildly, it was a blast.
Gregg and I are now traveling back east but we took a detour to Yosemite National Park today. A very kind tourist offered to take our photo by this spectacular river. With all the rain and the snow melting it was an incredible show. More on that later. I am still several days behind and it seems to be getting longer, but I shall catch up eventually.
Your picture is gorgeous!! You both look beautiful and joyous in front of the awesome rushing water, the perfect spot for a picture! So glad to hear you are back to normal!!!
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you Ginny. Being amongst all that nature made us feel fantastic.
DeleteLove your happy faces in that beautiful, beautiful spot. No rush - enjoy your trip. We will be here when you return.
ReplyDeleteThank you EC, appreciate the sentiments very much :)
DeleteGostei de ver o ar de felicidade dos meus amigos num cenário natural muito bonito.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

DeleteThank you Linda :) Happy you enjoyed catching up on my travel posts and thank you. How nice that your friends are in Yosemite. We hope to go back and stay there for a few days ourselves next time we are in this area. Hard to find a place in the park. I think we'll have to think about booking up a year in advance :)
ReplyDeleteQuite a roaring river behind the two of you. Nice pic! Happy Cinco de Mayo and happy travels home again home again...
ReplyDeleteThank you Ellen and that river was one of the most amazing sights I have seen on this trip.

DeleteI have enjoyed your vacation with you! Hoping you are feeling better now. You are traveling all the areas I have not been before. Well, had a front move through Nashville yesterday and it is now wet and 51 so I will probably venture out in a bit wearing one of my new long sleeve shirts my mom got on sale! Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam, glad you are enjoying our travels and yes I am fine now. Hope you get a dry and warmer weekend. I bet you'll look pretty in your Mom's long sleeve shirt.
