GOOD FENCES AND SKYWATCH FRIDAY



Thank you to both memes for getting me to pay more attention to interesting fencing (and gates) and beautiful skies.  The first four photos are from Oahu.




A private residence captured while driving by, same photo but I cropped to bring out more detail in the gate.




This is the Aloha Tower in Honolulu....




and this is my first sighting of Kauai from the plane.

    Nice gates and fences in Hawaii. Its exciting seeing land appear from the plane window.

    What an interesting and beautiful gate. I like the shot of the tower. I too take more notice of gates and fences these days, thanks to Theresa. :-)

    That gated housing around the island is really pricey. Very litttle open beach left on Oahu when we lived there, and I suspect the outer islands have suffered the same fate.

    There is an attractiveness to these gates..no doubt about it. However, I'm from the wide open grain growing prairies. There are very few fences. Fences are thought of as a nuisance! Just tellin' ya!

    Beautiful gates ... lovely sky pics. Today our sky is grey and overcast. It creates a lovely background for the red berries of the mountain ash tree in our yard. Makes the red really pop out.
