My reason for starting anew is that it was taking too long for some to load up and make comments. As I started it in 2008 and it was very photo heavy, I thought it kinder, and hopefully easier for all, to start 2016 with the sweep of a new broom.
Please let me know what you think of the new background, and any constructive comments will be welcomed and considered. I am using the largest text to make it easier for people to read.
My old blog is now closed.
My next entry here will be the Today's Flowers meme on January 1st, 2016.
Here's to happy new beginnings for all of us.
I like your background... Larger type is kind on the eyes.
ReplyDeleteWell, hope the 2016 venture goes well!
ReplyDeleteI have a few blog plans in place as well - keep an eye open!!

Heisann!
ReplyDeleteHappy, new blog... the new background is a bit misty, may be correspond to your new blog´s image?
See you...
Hello Denise, your new blog looks pretty, I like the background. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I wish you all the best in 2016, Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I've added your new blog to my reading list in Feedly. See you in 2016!
ReplyDeleteIt's great Denise, looks clearer and is easier to read. Perfect time for a clear out too. Happy Christmas to you and Gregg and the family.
ReplyDeleteI like the larger type, Denise, very nicely done overall! Merry Christmas to you! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new venture. I've never had the problems with your blog that you mention.
ReplyDeleteIt looks good. I would add a following option on the right.
ReplyDeletegood luck with the move.. either one is fine with me.
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, your fresh, new blog looks good and is easy to read. I'll be seeing you here after the New Year; in the meantime, a very Merry Christmas Happy New Year too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful Denise...it is great to make changes! Here's to 2016!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new blog. Always exciting to start something new. You have inspired me to change mine up a bit too. I'll be adding a bit more about my English heritage which up until now, it's strictly been what's happening in the garden.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new blog... I tried doing a new blog a few years ago --and still have it, but so far, 99% of my friends still prefer to follow me on Joyful Reflections... I had been told that my posts were too long for some, so the new blog was Betsy's Photo Page... Even though I still post once a month or son on it (with just one photo), I just don't get the comments I do on the other one... SO--I am still putting my attention on Joyful Reflections --although, as you know, I haven't had much time for blogging in 2015.. Maybe I'll do better in 2016....
ReplyDeleteWe are fine--and just staying busy. I do read your posts and even though I don't comment much, I certainly enjoy them..
Merry Christmas.
Hugs,
Betsy
Happy New Year, Denise, and happy new blog too.
