Son sent these photos he had taken when visiting their local farmer’s market. He was picking out a pumpkin for carving with our daughter-in-law that night when he saw the goat. I decided to put him into a frame and added the lyrics. They immediately popped into my head when I looked at that sweet face.
Have a great day and thanks for visiting.

That’s a great photo collage featuring the cute goat—and it looks like your son is busy carving a pumpkin! I hope he sends you a photo of it.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Elke
Thank you Elke, I had fun putting it together. I will ask him to send a photo of it :) Hugs, Denise
DeleteSweet is really the word. He looks so gentle and loving!
ReplyDeleteI agree, thank you Ginny :)
DeleteWhy goats in a farmer market? They sell live animals there?
ReplyDeleteHi Angie, no they are not for sale. It’s just a way of drawing in families with small children. There are also mini petting areas where children can interact with other animals, though the goats were in their own enclosure. I imagine there would be a lot of head butting otherwise :)
DeleteVery nice Denise and it is a sweetie.
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret, it is indeed :)
DeleteHow cute he is. He does have a sweet face.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, he certainly does :)
DeleteIt is fun this time of year to go out to the market and see animals along with pumpkins and gourds. Perfect pairing with the song. That brings back memories.
ReplyDeleteSame here :) Thank you Lynn and Precious.
Delete"Diana Ross and the Supremes', I had to think about that for a while before I got it Denise.🤣
ReplyDeleteHi Roy, yes! I still enjoy listening to them :)
DeleteOh be still my beating heart, what a cutie.
ReplyDeleteIsn’t he Jo? :)
DeleteI raised goats for years, they are smart and pretty fun.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! I would have loved to have that experience. Thanks for sharing Val :)
DeleteInteresting
ReplyDelete"The line "sweet thing you make my heart sing" is a mix-up of two different famous songs: "Wild Thing" by The Troggs and "Sweet Thing" by artists like The Supremes or Rufus & Chaka Khan."
Fun, I know the Supremes but I will have to look up the Troggs. Sometimes I recognize the music before I do the name :) Thanks John!
DeleteGreat photos of the goat. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteHi Beverley, thank you! I was very happy our son shared these photos :)
DeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you Christine :)
DeleteHow lovely post!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne :)

DeleteThank your son for the adorable photo and you for giving it a perfect frame
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
I will let him know Cecilia, thank you so much sweet of you to say :)
DeleteHaha ... you never know what you'll find when looking for pumpkins. I like the orange tone of the goat's fur. Perfect for Halloween. :)
ReplyDeleteVery true Penelope, I like his orange coat also. I don’t get to meet goats that often but I don’t ever remember seeing one with such a pretty color. I agree, perfect for Halloween :)
DeleteHi Denise, there are few things as sweet as a little goat's face. Awe! When I lived in Switzerland there was this little park in the village. It was honestly like something out of a fairy tale. It had a merry go round, park benches, someone selling pop corn, a man with an accordion and a trained monkey and a petting zoo with little miniature goats. I would often stop there in the afternoon for a little rest to watch the children play before I headed back home with my little pull cart full of groceries. :). I had never been around goats very much but that was when I fell in love!. Have a lovely day, :)
ReplyDeleteHi Delisa and isn’t that the truth? How fabulous that you lived in Switzerland! The only times I have been to that beautiful country, I thought the same thing. The place you described sounded magical! It would be awesome to sit for a spell and enjoy. Goats are a very cool animal and always look adorable. I do remember my dad saying one, once ate his handkerchief by pulling it out of his pocket. You have a lovely day too Delisa :)
DeleteWhat a sweet looking goat
ReplyDeleteHe certainly was :) Thanks Linda!
DeleteI had an encounter with a goat that felt I didn't belong on 'its' property. I didn't argue! When I read the lyrics my weird brain went to the Trogg's song "Wild Thing'. Do not ask me why, all I know is I don't make everything groovy.
ReplyDeletelol! I don’t make anything groovy either Sandra so we are good company for each other ;) No, best not to argue with a stroppy goat :)
DeleteThat goat is just tooo cute. and I love that you found a graphic that looks just like the real deal. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat’s great Latane, thank you and so glad you liked my logo. The goat is the same as in one of those that my son sent me. I have a program I use to remove surroundings :) You have a great weekend too.
DeleteYes, that goat does look cute... nice photographs... please thank your son.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Doesn’t he? Thank you Jan, I will let my son know :) All the best, Denise.
DeleteDear Denise, YOU are the GOAT! (Greatest of all time, I was probably last to figure out that goat expression. LOL)
ReplyDeleteLOL, that’s great Kay, and thank you for the smile :)
DeleteI know the goat expression - lol - you are the goat!
ReplyDeleteLove that, too funny! Thanks for the smile Sandie :)
DeleteAwwww... this is so adorable, Denise. Gosh... I haven't seen a goat in such a long, long time.
