The Halloween Crowd decided to drop in for a visit. Everyone tried to tell them it was way too early, but you know how that goes with some ghosties/cats/pumpkins?
The Mrs. has started feeding the birdies but they remain scarce. Even the squirrel stopped by for a few seconds and turned his nose up. Squirrel never turns his nose up at anything. We think the cleaning solution Mr. used, may be putting them off a bit. Hopefully it will rain tonight and that will take care of that.
And as we always like to say here on a Saturday Morning at the Bird Feeder, that's how it goes sometimes, or something like that.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Your artwork is so funny. I have a pumpkin at home too, but I'm eating it *wink*
ReplyDeleteI'm sure more will be coming to the birdhouse soon!
Have a nice weekend!
Hugs, Elke
Greetings Elke :) thank you, I am glad you found it funny. I am sure they will and enjoy your pumpkin. Wishing you a nice weekend with hugs, Denise xo

ReplyDeleteIsn’t that the truth? :) thanks Janice!
DeleteAutumn is early here this year. Maybe things are early your way too.
ReplyDeleteI think you are right :) Thanks AC!

ReplyDeleteThank you Ellen, and the same to you and your Mr., from us and the crowd on the deck :)
DeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Anne :)
DeleteOur birds are rapidly moving south. Now our winter birds are easier to see and find.
ReplyDeleteI would be interested in knowing what your winter birds are Red. We have a few that stay around all year, but looking forward to seeing the juncos again. They are definitely our winter bird that I see :)
DeleteBetter early than late to the bird feeder.
ReplyDeleteVery true Sandra :)
DeleteDenise this is delightful. With our artistic skills and your 'total understanding of the itty bitty bird brains' I think you could write a book
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
That is so kind of you to say Cecilia, and very much appreciated :) Hugs, Denise xo
DeleteI'm late, I'm late for a very important date...as the quote from Alice In Wonderland goes. Here it is mid-day and I am just now coming to the birdfeeder!! Hurrah, you are feeding them again! When we put the feeder out, it takes them at least a week to come and find it. The witch cat wanting sardines gives me such a big laugh!!! You are brilliant!
ReplyDeleteWell, Ginny, you certainly know how to lift my spirits. Thank you so much!!! I am glad you enjoy these.
Deletethanks for the Saturday fun
ReplyDeleteAnytime Christine, you are very, very welcome :)
DeleteDon't you just love this weeks Saturday crowd ... well I do and I'm smiling:)

All the best Jan

ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie, happy you enjoyed :) I am sure the birds will return too.
DeleteOur bears aren't in bed, yet. I am reluctant to put up the feeder! Mind you, the blue jays have been sitting in the tree yelling at me. THEY are ready!
ReplyDeleteThis is really cute, Denise.
Thanks Jenn and haven’t heard of any bears around here this year. There was one wandering through taking bird feeders down last year.
DeleteWe're suddenly back in the 80s during this whole week they say. Back and forth. :)
ReplyDeleteSame here Rita, but 70s this coming week. October always seems to be a nice month around here :)
DeleteWoah, that is quite the party that you had there! We too are back into the 80's right when we were enjoying the 60's!
ReplyDeleteIt is 74 as I right this comment (29th). We may have seen the last of the 80s for a while :)
DeleteLOVE the cartoons! And for the little dude that said it was too early for boooos. lol. It's never too early for booo jokes! I have a ghosty that I got from one of the discount stores. She's holding a drink and a pumpkin purse. So fun.
ReplyDeleteBEST TIME OF YEAR, EVHARRRRRR 👻🎃🍂🤍🧡
That’s wonderful Ivy :) I am looking forward to seeing what you can do with your Halloween photos. Your ghostly sounds great!
DeleteSo guess what? My camera died. Deadsville USA. A used one arrives Friday. Fingers crossed. The old one still shoots video, so I'll use it for that and the new used one is for stills. The old one died shooting a Halloween mini in front of the porch pumpkin.
DeleteI hope by now you are enjoyed your camera Ivy. I was so sorry to read that. I hope you got your Halloween mini video done. That sounds like a fun shoot. Good luck on everything.
DeleteHaha great. Love it :-D
ReplyDeleteHappy you thought so Ananka, thank you :)
DeleteCute! My neighbor, put some big scary things up on his porch. Fortunately, Charlie hasn’t noticed them yet.
ReplyDeleteWe have Halloween decorations up in a few neighbors gardens today I noticed. One was a 20 foot tall skeleton! I started seeing those last year. Poor Charlie but I know you will be his loving protector :)
