When we took a trip down to North Carolina, my niece took this photo on 4-16-25 at sunrise. I thought it was gorgeous and I asked her if I could share it on here. She was happy to say yes. Thank you my sweet, you are greatly missed!

MY NIECE'S SUNRISE PHOTO AND A POEM
"The tide recedes but leaves behind
bright sea shells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle
warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops, and yet it echoes
on in sweet refrains…
for every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains…"
and the sun will rise again.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.
I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
It is a really stunning photo! Looks like two suns! What is this item in the foreground? I cannot make it out.
ReplyDeleteHi Ginny, she is a wonderful photographer and yes it does :) All I can think of is that it is a broken shell, though I am not 100 percent sure.

DeleteAnd I would be very happy to go and collect shells. I can delude myself that I do it from scientific curiosity, but who am I kidding? I am once again a child and there is joy in those shiny shells.

That's truly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt *is* a gorgeous picture, Denise. Thank your niece for us, for allowing you to share. Most times folks post sunset pictures and while those are pretty too, I like the sunrise ones. I guess since I'm a "morning person". Love, Andrea xoxo
