GREEN HERON IN THE EVERGLADES


I remember being very happy to keep company with this Green Heron while he was fishing.  These photos were taken in the Everglades several years ago.

  2. Wow, your pictures are awesome!! I have seen Green Herons several times, and have snapped them. But none of my photos looked as fierce and colorful as these! Especially the first one.

  4. these are SPLENDID captures dear Denise :)

    luckily a pair of Heron visits my yard garden since two years ,they nestle in climber ,i love seeing them around so i can understand how lovely it must have been for you have such gorgeous company :)

  9. We recall seeing green herons when we lived in VA and would take frequent trips to Chincoteage and the wildlife refuge. It is a beautiful bird and you captured it well, Denise.
