With thanks to Mascha of Mascha's Buch who gave me some advice on adding photos, I was able to add the above by pressing the html button, instead of compose while editing. You can read Mascha's comments below this post. Perhaps this advise will help others who have the same problem. Thank you Mascha:)
I would also like to thank Beatrice from The Frog and the Penguin, who told me about an app called Blogsy. I will definitely check that out. You can also read what she said in the comment section of this post. Thanks Beatrice :)
It is slow going trying to do a blog post on my iPad, so I will wait until I get my laptop back before doing another. Unless this situation goes on for a long time, and I will try again.
Thank you for all your kind comments. I guess we have all had to deal with this kind of thing eventually, and can truly empathize.
My photo was taken on the grounds of our hotel when on holiday.
I should get my computer back by Monday.

I have no flower photos for you today. My laptop decided to crash, so it is out being fixed. I am using my iPad to publish this post but can't get any photographs to publish along with it. They just stay blank. Hopefully the link still works. Ah well, things should be back to normal soon. I am keeping my fingers crossed here. I think it is called coming down to earth with a bump!
Good luck. Technology is wonderful - when it is working. And a pain the rest of the time.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are able to resolve the issues, dear Denise. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bother that your computer is not co-operating....especially since you just moved to your new blog space!
ReplyDeleteOuch for the laptop and you as well, Denise. Hope the repair isn't too serious or costly.
ReplyDeleteThere is a blogging program for the iPad called Bloggsy. Pat used it awhile back and it wasn't too costly, so you might check it out on the App store as it could help while the laptop is in PC hospital.
Thanks Beatrice. Will do that.
DeleteComputers....can't live with them or without them!
ReplyDeleteHeisann... we are pationed.... come whenever you come....
ReplyDeleteOh dearie my! I hope your devices start behaving soon.
ReplyDeletethats ok there are others showing flowers for you. sorry about the laptop
ReplyDeleteUfffffffff, that are to many problems in one!
ReplyDeleteBy the way: that with the photos I have today too, loading up is working, but add the photos to post isn't succesful since 10 hours. Now I've figured out, that I can it not do in HTML, must use the left button over the post form, in German the word is "Verfassen" (in English I don't know). Only that is working. Hope, I could help you.
Thank you Mascha. I figured out with your advice how to put the photo on to this post. I send you a hug :)
DeleteHopefully this gets sorted out quickly.
ReplyDeleteI hate hate hate when that happens and it does seem to happen to everybody sometimes .... Best luck! I had to replace mine finally as even the Geek Squad threw up their hands.
ReplyDeleteOh Denise, that's not very nice to hear. I heard about Bloggsy, too - try it as well!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Germany ... Frauke
I'm sorry about your laptop crashes ! I hope everything will be fine !
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend :)
Sorry about your computer, Denise! Hope it will be fixed soon. From our travels, I know the Ipad is a hassle to blog with! My contribution are Camellia buds (they really look that round). Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get things sorted...I agree with Elephant's Child's comment.
ReplyDeleteHope the computer is a simple and inexpensive fix.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, Denise. That's a real bummer. But eventually things will settle down, right? From this end, everything is fine and dandy, if a bit different looking. Thanks for hosting this great photo meme!
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling! Computers can make me very frustrated too. Groetjes, Hetty
ReplyDeleteGlad you got one loaded...
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt's so maddening, isn't it, when stuff breaks! You managed a photo! Good for you. I like our iPad, but it's just for research or travel.
ReplyDeleteA very nice photo. Interesting plants. Hang in there. Poltergeists are everywhere!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem when trying to post from my tablet. Hope your computer is healed soon. I'm thinking about a laptop as you suggested. Meanwhile my g-daughter has set up my computer so I can stand and type. Much better.
ReplyDeleteIt's a bummer when your computer crashes. You realize just how much you depend on the darn thing! Good luck with your repair, hope it comes back quickly. Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)
ReplyDeleteHope your computer gets sorted soon! What kind of a plant is it? It looks quite tropical... Maybe a type of bromeliad... Have a beautiful week!
ReplyDeleteHi Jandi, I am not entirely sure but I think this may be some kind of ginger plant.
DeleteThanks to each and every one of you for visiting and leaving a comment. Sure do appreciate your kindness.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the computer issues but glad you are getting help with your blog. Hope things work themselves out and isn't it great to have the kindness of bloggers.
