THERE IS ANOTHER SKY by EMILY DICKINSON

There is another sky,
Ever serene and fair,
And there is another sunshine,
Though it be darker there;
Never mind faded forests, Austin,
Never mind silent fields.
Here is a little forest
Whose leaf is ever green;
Here is a brighter garden,
Where not a frost has been;
In its unfading flowers
I hear the bright bee hum:
Prithee, my brother,
Into my garden come!

    1. Hi Sandra, I've loved poetry since I was a little girl and am always reading between the lines and trying to find the meaning to them, trying to put myself into the writer's shoes. Then sometimes there is no meaning except for a beautiful poem.
