GOOD FENCES FOR GOSIA

This is my contribution for Good Fences hosted by Gosia.
This pretty log cabin with its white picket fence was found on a quiet country road a few weeks ago. We were in the south western part of Virginia in July. If you would like to see other fences, or join in with your own, you can go here.

Thank you Gosia and thank you for visiting everyone.  Have a great weekend. I will be back on Monday.

  1. A lovely scene! They need to cut that tree back just a TINY bit..

    1. I agree Linda but what I didn't get in frame was the brand new house, quite a large house, on the grounds. I was only interested in the log cabin tucked away in the corner there. I tend to be drawn to the older places rather than new structures. I also looked at the windows and it looked like they were renovating the old log cabin somewhat.

  7. I love the log cabin and the photo is beautiful, but I would not want the picket fence in white but in natural color OR a rustic fence in its place... also would want Huckleberry to get that fence painted when it needs it..

    1. For a perfect scene, an older rustic fence would be ideal but with a relatively new, much larger home which we passed, I was grateful the owners had kept and seemed to be using the old log cabin. I am very happy I got a photo of the cabin, I don't ever find the larger, newer houses as interesting and always love the character of an older home ;)
