GREYLAG GOOSE

I share so many photos of the Canada Goose, that when I came across this one in my folder recently, I thought you would like to see a Greylag Goose for a change.  I took the photo several years ago while in England.  I rarely get to see them here and can't remember the last time.  You can find out more about them at this link.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.

  6. With Canada geese things are going to get more difficult for you. Sometime in the future Canada geese may be divided into six separate species.

    1. Because we do see them so rarely, I always enjoy what I can see but it's those rare sightings of other species that are extremely interesting. Thanks Ellen :)

  8. Hi Denise,
Greylag are a really delightful goose that as you say we have in reasonable numbers in the UK. I was watching some yesterday whilst on duty with the Osprey.
    Super image.
