OLD-TIME POSTCARDS

Trying to find something in particular, I found myself looking in an old cupboard upstairs.  It is where I keep all greeting cards and postcards, some of which have been collected on past road trips.  I was way overdue for a sorting it all out.
I never did find what I was looking for but as often happens, these searches make me realize yes, its spring.  All of a sudden I find myself on  a cleaning binge of activity.  I will be focused until it is all done and then probably find something else to do after that.  Who knows what else I will find.
On this particular occasion I was delighted to find these old fashioned postcards.  I couldn't tell you how long I have had them.  They were tucked away in the back of one of those dark corners, and tucked inside a small storage box.
I can see why I bought them as I love old-fashioned clothing, a definite change of pace for you today.

Thanks for looking and enjoy your day.

  2. They are elegant which few of today's clothes achieve (and almost no casual clothes).
Happy Easter and enjoy your weekend.

    1. Truth Valerie? I have a hard time throwing things away ;) BUT, downsizing and keeping special things, especially the sentimental ones, taking photos of others hoping I can pass them on to anyone who would like them eventually, our son having first dibs.

    1. When I look at the tennis clothes of today, compared to what was worn back then, I'm thinking there wasn't a lot of room for freedom of movement :)
