DECK CAMERA BIRD 'ART'

Playing with these photos in Paint Shop Pro and liking this effect, I tried it on several of my photographs.  I will share the originals and identify the birds at a later date.

I don't often mention current events on this blog, I know they often make us all very sad.  I want this to be a blog where people can come in peace, and forget what's going on out there for a couple of minutes.  I am aware of what is going on in the US and the rest of the world.  Everything we get is instantaneous these days isn't it?  So please don't think I don't care, I truly do.

All that being said those who are in the path of this latest hurricane Florence heading for the Carolina's, I send you all my thoughts and prayers.  I will be following the news like many others.

  6. I like the way you've transformed your photos of your garden birds into works of art. They're beautiful and would look good framed. I'm also thinking and praying for those in the path of this latest and threatening hurricane. I hope everyone stays safe and spared from devastating situations.

    1. Thank you Linda and listening to what is going on down there. The North Carolina Governor said it is being considered a once in every thousand years flooding event in eastern NC.

  8. Hi Denise,
Wonderful work on the images, really beautiful.
I think I recognise a Blue Jay and Northern Cardinal {this being a real favourite of mine.
So sorry for the poor people in the midst of the Hurricane, then they have the clean up in the aftermath.
    All the best, John

    1. Thank you John, you guessed correctly. I will share them again with the ID. Let's hope those caught in this hurricane get plenty of help. In any of these disasters people always seem to open their hearts and pitch in with an amazing spirit.

  10. That effect works well, really shows up the detail on the birds. We are hearing the news about that horrid hurricane and also Typhoon Mangkhut in the Phillipines with 5 million people in its path. So many people living with the unknown right now. They are in my prayers.

  13. I believe you showed some similar birds on a previous blog post minus the special effects, Denise, which are very cool. Like yourself, I also shy away from commenting on current U.S. and world events current and politics in my blog posts. Of course, this doesn't mean that we don't care. The devastation from Hurricane Florence is truly heartbreaking and we all truly care.

Thank you so for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.

I appreciate all who look at my blog, but I won't be publishing any businesses. If you are only able to publish anonymously, would you sign your name please, and leave an addy so I can return your visit where possible? Thank you!
