    1. Thanks Valerie, no I haven't lost my accent entirely. It has changed somewhat. My British friends haven't lost theirs either. It would have been different if we had come over here when we were very young I suppose.

  4. Lovely area, Denise, and I, too, love your English accent! My father's parents were born in Kent, England, and I have seen photos and videos of the area, and I can definitely see why it is dubbed the 'Garden of England'. I really enjoyed your video, thank you so much for sharing. :)

  5. I managed to play a bit of this. I agree you have not picked up the American accent. I have a South African accent but then I went to Rhodesia when I was 9!
