  1. I just love your English accent. I could listen to you talk forever. My great grandfather came over from England on a boat.

    1. Thanks Ginny and how very interesting about your great-grandfather. People were very brave in those days.

    1. Thanks Valerie, no I haven't lost my accent entirely. It has changed somewhat. My British friends haven't lost theirs either. It would have been different if we had come over here when we were very young I suppose.

  4. Lovely area, Denise, and I, too, love your English accent! My father's parents were born in Kent, England, and I have seen photos and videos of the area, and I can definitely see why it is dubbed the 'Garden of England'. I really enjoyed your video, thank you so much for sharing. :)

  5. I managed to play a bit of this. I agree you have not picked up the American accent. I have a South African accent but then I went to Rhodesia when I was 9!
    Cheers Diane

I thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.

Also, there are times when I delete by mistake, so if something you have written to me is gone, it's usually because my fingers have pushed the wrong button!
