    1. Thank you Ginny. He is called a Sanderling and you can’t tell by the photo but he is smaller than a Sandpiper, and moves incredibly fast when those waves roll in. I love them!

  7. You are so right, Denise. And it reminded me that as soon as the laundry and other chores are done I will be off on one later today. This week other projects have taken time from blog posting and reading, but I have enjoyed your recent travel posts. It always makes me feel as if I've been a stowaway.

    1. I missed your message all this time ago Dorothy. I am assuming it was one of those that went missing in blogland and turned up in my inbox a few years later. Always found this extraordinary!!! Not so bad now but it still happens. And now you have been on your own wonderful travels and I am the stowaway :) I have loved every minute of them.
