A wonderful picture! Back then, not many people got formal pictures. And most who did were unable to smile, because they had to hold still for so long with the old fashioned cameras.
It is a beautiful vintage portrait!
Such a lovely way to remember a lovely man.
A lovelly shot from the family album
Thank goodness for photographs, a lovely way to keep the past alive.

Wow! simply nostalgic.
It's great that you have this photographic record, Denise, and that it all has not gotten lost over time.
I look at them and think of the titanic history that child was to be part of! Handsome people
Marvelous photo! Best wishes to your family.
I thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer. Also, there are times when I delete by mistake, so if something you have written to me is gone, it's usually because my fingers have pushed the wrong button!
