TODAY'S FLOWERS #407 - May 6th, 2016

Thank you to everyone who has participated in this meme.  I am so grateful for your support.

Today's Flowers opens on Friday at 12.00 a.m., and closes the following Thursday at 11.00 p.m. Information about this meme can be found here.

These lovely spring flowers were found in Williamsburg on our last trip down to see family last month.  We stopped here as it is on the way and we wanted to show my Brother-in-Law.  He had visited Williamsburg 24 years before.

Today's Flowers was created by Luiz Santilli, Jr. Thank you Luiz!  I am now its host.

I am also linking with the following memes as they become available, with my thanks to our hosts.  Please click on their names to visit other participants.

  9. Good morning Denise,
The flowers there are so nice that they deserve a better weed-smothering substance. Other than what looks like pine needle straw, and is a bit depressing. Black sedge peat maybe?
Thank you for hosting. It quite cheers me up to see what flowers where.

  17. Spring beauty! I miss tulips and typical spring flowers; it is wonderful to share yours; thank you for them and for hosting. (We obviously missed a lot by being in Williamsburg once in mid-summer and once in the Fall ... wish we could go back this time of year.)

  28. Hi Denise, I had trouble linking this post http://www.lovethatimage.com/blog/2016/05/variegated-pieris/ It's not even truly a flower, but it looks so much like one I thought it might be OK to post here. Have a great weekend! Sara

  29. Tulips are one of my favourite spring flowers. You saw a beautiful display of tulips and pansies when you were in Williamsburg. Our tulips are just coming out in the garden and I love each one of them for their variety. What a pretty mosaic you've created! I hope you have a wonderful weekend which I believe includes Mother's Day in the USA and other countries.
