GREAT BLUE HERON

I haven't taken any bird photos this week, so I am sharing these from my archives of a Great Blue Heron fishing.

  6. Beautiful bird and photos. The Blue Heron is a bit naughty in The Netherlands. Hij looking for garden ponds, where fish swim around. He eats the koi and goldfish

  7. I love the heron. Two flew over my garden the other day ... such joy to see them so close. They were'e blue heron though, I've only ever seen the grey.
