A photo of a painting in one of the restaurants from our holiday.

"My soul is full of longing
For the secret of the sea,
And the heart of the great ocean
Sends a thrilling pulse through me."

~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow~

"May your joys be as deep as the Ocean."

  2. Nice naive painting, the waves reminds me about Chinese drawnings... and most I like the quote.

  3. I haven't heard that before. I am always fascinated by the sea, I guess that's why I like sailing.

As you can tell, from the other comments I've left today, I've been catching up on my blog reading - which is always enjoyable.

The last few days seem to have gone in a blur and I can't believe it's Wednesday already!

Hope you are keeping well and the week is going well for you.

    All the best Jan

  11. Isn't it lovely? Was it for sale? I love how restauranteurs do this for artists!

I thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them very much and always try to return a visit. As I do monitor comments it may take a while for them to appear, even quite late depending on what is going on and how much time I am able to spend on the computer.

Also, there are times when I delete by mistake, so if something you have written to me is gone, it's usually because my fingers have pushed the wrong button!
